As I mentioned in the video, I spent a long time staying in the wings. I was a "practicer"—I’d take the organ lessons and work hard, but the moment someone wanted to hear what I had learned, I wanted to quit. I was terrified of being put on dislay or being compared to others. Plus, it just simply bored me.
I eventually realized that life isn't a competition with the person in the next lane. We are all playing our own game.
I started Senior Life Discovery because I decided to stop practicing in private and start discovering in public. This podcast is my way of saying that it is never too late to learn a new skill, find a new passion, or protect your legacy.
